Good rule of thumb is to pre-determine what mods you want for a play through and stick to those for the entire playthrough. I have not had this happen yet with FO4 but it has happened with Skyrim. Installing and removing mods in and out of your load order could cause your save to fail. However, this feature is finiky at best but at least it is something.Īlso, be aware that you will probably spend more time modding your game than actually playing if you are like me and you constantly moving mods in and out of your load order. NMM does have a feature that will allow you to see if your mods have been updated as long as you hit the "track" button on the mods description page.
